Itinerary description

The old footpath from Panteleimonos to Paliomonastiro, and then over the ridge to join the Karyes-Vatopedi road at its highest point (~600m). Trail open but not signposted. When you join the road go left for 300m and then right to Keli Marouda. From there easily join the trail to Karyes and Vatopedi, avoiding the dusty road.

junction, turn left, right goes to Karyes by road
