Itinerary description
The hike starts in the quaint village of Lymmington which is within itself worth a visit, and moves through the nearby marshes, a paradise for birdwatchers.
We can see dozens of sailing boats in the horizon on the Solent. It’s a beautiful postcards of British summer.
We pass by Keyhaven and start the walk on the thick gravel tourist Hurst point. When we arrive at the end, a beautiful Lighthouse awaits by the fortress and we have a snack.
On the way back, we can’t be bothered and take the little barge that takes us back to Keyhaven. We have lunch in a lovely pub right there. The rest of the walk we have fantastic views of the Isle of Wight and the Needles in the distance. We arrive to Barton on Sea to take the train back to London from new Milton.
