Itinerary description

A short loop among remarkable Sandstone rock formations and small gorges in the Müllerthal region of Luxembourg.

This trail starts in the centre of Berdorf where there is a bus stop but if you are travelling by car, it is better to park opposite the Tourist Information Centre. Walk to the Tourist Information Centre where trail B2 starts and collect a free leaflet TOURENTIPP BERDORF B2. Trail B2 is very well signposted. It is a good route in hot weather as it is in shady woodland and the sections among the rocks are cool.

The route shown includes an optional detour through a cave at Raiberhiel. If you take this detour, you will need a torch (flashlight) and you will need to crawl under one low rock so don't wear clean white trousers! You will also need a good head for heights as there are two ladders inside the cave. It is recommended to go up the ladders not down, If you miss out the cave, the technical difficulty is moderate not difficult.
