Itinerary description
A cloudy day is perfect for a small walk from the charming village of Luso to the wonderfull divers Palace of Buçaco.
We parked in the village (for free) and started our walk with a 5k climb..trough 1 of the 11 gates bounded with a 5k wall.. steps up trough the 350 year old woods, build in 1656 & has more than 700 different plants & trees.. We followed the signs right up the mountain and passed the 'fairy tail designed 'Palace', the highest point 'Cruz alta'.. Back down we 'Follow the Steps of the Passion of the Christ' and .. got by a closed gate :(.. we find our way through it and take a small visit to de romantic village Luso Another beautiful day in Mid-Portugal
