Itinerary description
A gorgeous canyon hike then up the steep headwall to Helen Lake. Lundy Canyon is one of the prettiest in the Eastern Sierra. Waterfalls galore, a wildflower paradise, and beavers oh my! The beginning is very easy and leads to many meadows and waterfalls. The scramble up the headwall is very tough on loose rock. Once above, Helen Lake makes the perfect stopping point for an easy dayhike.

Trailhead. Note that the road is all gravel once past Lower Lundy Lake. Not bad, even my passenger car with low profile tires made it no problem.
