Itinerary description

Very simple: Do not do this tour, it's crap! It leads through a monoculture spruce forest, mainly on forest roads. Further, the trail markings are really bad, my favorite is at waypoint 01: it is a five-way crossroad where the colored dot that marks the way is right in the middle. So you have no idea which way to continue...

And finally: the restaurant „Steigerhaus“ has closed as of Janary 2016.

This tour was inspired by the Kompass Hiking Guide „Thüringer Wald“ (ISBN 978-3-85026-367-2), I really do not know, why they put this tour in the book...
