Itinerary description

This is a repeat of the walk we did in 2011. We felt it was worth repeating and we were right. I slightly over cast but a lovely warm day. This time 9 of us went with our friends Tony and Kay as leaders. We travelled on the 33 Bus from central Dublin to a point on the R128 road to the North Dublin seaside town of Skerries. The walk took us to the small port of Loughshinny and then along the cliff to the Martello Tower. Then we continued on the cliff path, with views of Lambay Island and the Rockabill Lighthouse, and then onto the Rush beach. In the town of Rush, we had a nice meal and refreshments, and took the return 33 Bus to Dublin. A really nice easy walk, with pleasant views.
