Itinerary description
A paddle around the west end of Loughborough Lake. A nice day trip on a beautiful sunny summer day. The lake is wider in spots than I imagined and we hugged the shoreline for most of the trip. We faced some head wind on the way back to the car/boat launch and I can imagine on a windy day the lake could get rough.
There are lots of cottages and homes along the shoreline but also stretches of trees, marshes and natural areas. We spotted the usual wildlife and there were plenty of fish in the lake. A small park is located on the south shore called Davidsons Beach that I should have marked on the map and it would be a great spot for a lunch or break.

The south west end of the lake is known as Harper Bay and it looked like there might be some businesses there.
