Itinerary description
This is a relatively easy and very pleasant hike. The hike starts just beyond the carpark and seating area if you are coming by road from Kingscourt(7km).
The area of Loughanleagh is quite magical and is steeped in a long history. It offers a number of paths.
I did this walk on a lovely cold and clear frosty day but I have visited many times including in July to collect bilberries.
