Itinerary description
This is a really beautiful walk if you have the desire to enjoy great views without having to exert yourself too much.
The beginning of the walk already gives you a great feeling of freedom going up gently on a narrow road with the space of the hills and valley around you.
Leaving the road in a sharp bend to the right a track will gradually take you to a col at a height of about 650 metres and from there the track turns to the right to go up to the Pech de Lymousy at 704 metres.
The views are marvelllous and very extensive both towards the Pyrenees and towards the plains to the north. The crest of the hill is one big meadow, with grazing cattle so there is hardly anything to impede the view.
From the hilltop we went to the next hilltop from which you will have a really all around view. From here it was our idea to follow a track descending towards the east but a notice on a gate warns people that that part is guarded by a watchdog so we went back down the hilltop and took the yellow marked track back towards Loubens.
The descent is a particularly beautiful part of the walk, the views remain unbelievably extensive almost all the way back towards the parkingplaces near the church.
