Itinerary description
Had difficulty recording the first 1hr+ of this trail. I restarted my phone and it then recorded correctly.
I estimate the actual distance was around 16km. Taking 9hrs+ (had a few very slow people), a long day!
Started from a location that avoided private property (I believe). The trail was relatively clear, roughly following a fence line (on the left) until you take a right turn following a Ridge line towards Mt Razorback.
Loved the views across the Razorback sections but the actual summit of Mt Razorback was a disappointment as it's buried in trees with no views. Be prepared for bushbashing sections before reaching the summit point.
After the summit, some more great Razorbacks and views in places together with more bushbashing.
Then take a right turn for the "steep" slide/scramble down to the Albert River (did I say it's steep.. Haha, be warned)
When you reach the Albert River - Right Branch we took another 3hrs 15min's of rock hopping to exit onto the final short trail leading to the end of Kelly Road / Lost Mountain guest house. From there it was another 1.2km back to our cars.

Hi Charlie. Do you need a permit to go up the razorback? The fence line looks v overgrown atm too
No you don't need a permit unless you're planning to camp on Mt Razorback. Read trail description carefully.
Ok thanks
Great trail, thanks Charlie. Water levels were up a little so after half hour on the creek rock hop we simply accepted a wet to the knees approach for the last of it! : )
