The car is left at the bottom of the chairlift that goes up to the Rila Lakes. The chairlift costs 20 leva. Hours 8: 30-18: 30. Check it out before, then don't tell me that you've been hanging upstairs and you have to go down through the forest at night.
The chairlift that. Well, it goes up. Once up the walk is easy. They have adapted the terrain to mass tourism. It is not a bike ride or a walk on the asphalt either, but it is very comfortable.
You are seeing the different lakes. There is a viewpoint that has a certain ascent with a 250m slope, demanding for people who do not walk much in the mountains.
Very beautiful landscapes, simple route.
THINGS AND SUCH:
- They are adapting the terrain and on certain slopes they have laid smooth stone. I don't know if this is a good idea for rainy days. I don't want to be the Rila County Council, since there are going to be more slips than on the Calatrava bridge in Bilbao.
- It can be done without using the chairlift, but you will have to overcome almost 900 meters of unevenness through a nondescript forest-mount. There are routes in Wikiloc that talk about this modality.
Well, little else, very nice. But I prefer to go to the Musala😉
