Itinerary description
A good hike up the Valley towards Santiago de Teide through banana fields then steep left climb up rocky paths to the summit, then we followed the ridge all the way down to the sea with some great views of the cliffs on the right. A lot of loose rock on the way down slowed us up a bit.
It was tricky to find the proper starting point and we moved the car to park it at the end of the hike so it was a circular walk! We had a coffee at a nice viewing place in the village of puerto De Santiago. They said you couldn’t climb the actual cliffs without a guide from the town of Masca.
