Itinerary description
This is a big loop with lots of different terrain and two solid uphills. It leaves from
Barrio La Mina/Chingui on a road that leads to a trail that will tale you to a high point with the antena Chingui. From there you drop down into a shadier forest crossing over the quebrada la romera and pass the paved road that goes to La Catedral. In order to get down to La Miel there is one more uphill portion of pasture to avoid going across a private property. The exit takes you to the Arenales bus stop/inder basketball courts where you can catch a bus down or continue down the steep drainage path ending in a neighorhood that takes you back to the starting point.
There are open sun areas, buggy shady areas, river crossings... you need solid shoes that can get wet, sunscreen, repellent, and plenty of water.
