Itinerary description

Very nice loop with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. We start off near Praia do Magoito, a 40 minutes drive from Lisbon and walk along the hiking trail running along the ocean.

Then we took a right turn since the Portuguese government is currently undertaking a rewilding project along the trail, so part of the area is not accessible.

In the second section, we walked more inland up to an ancient Roman bridge, called Ponte da Catribana to then quickly go back to the starting point.

All in all, a wonderful trail along the ocean with spectacular cliffs worthy of multiple pictures. Definitely a great way to spend quality time with friends and family. Highly recommended!
