Itinerary description
Easy trail, EXCEPT the crossing of the Upper Sacramento River, which still had a decent amount of water with a strong current when we did the trail (17th of June, 2023).
There is a lot of shade, and sometimes you can even buy food or water, but we recommend to bring a hat, sunglasses, and enough water for the whole loop.
When crossing the Sacramento river, balance out the depth and the flow rate by choosing the crossing point. Also, use a wood stick (which you might find nearby) to gain extra stability.
