After reaching the end of the paved road, one has to turn left onto the goat track and pass this gate. Later the track ends up in a graded roat that should be followed in the left direstion

Approaching Pedasa
Arriving on the left arm of the visible tracks, joining the right track coming from the entrance gate in Konacik, slight ascent leads one to the ruins of the Pedasa amphitheatre and sacred complex on the left; further on there is the city itself and the acropolis

This pic pertains to a rather long strip of this hike which was done because I and my hiking companion got so deeply absorbed into discussion about Turkish cinematography, that we missed the exit from the graded road back onto the goat track and made an additional 3 kilometres...

This trail mostly follows local graded roads, sometimes only there are some goat treks. There are long, sometimes quite steep, ascents which adds difficulty to this otherwise easy trail. It starts at the top of Cirkan area in Konacik, passes through the Pedasa archeological site and after a long walk through the forest it ends up the fire brigade station on the road between Yalikavak and Torba. The right part of the trail is not necessary to follow, I made these unnecessary 3 kms more by mistake
