Itinerary description
Winter Edition.
Park the car at Rāmkalni parking lot. Short metal spikes under the boots are strongly recommended as the parts of the trail are fairly steep and slippery. Otherwise, it can get risky to fall off the cliff with the river underneath.
The trail goes along the Loja river which is in the glen. Fantastic landscape with sand cliff exposures. The trail ends at the historical Murjāņi bobsled wood track and goes back to the beginning.
