Keurvorstenheuvel

Over de naamgeving van de Keurvorstenheuvel is niet veel met zekerheid bekend, maar men kan er van uitgaan dat dit stuk bos eigendom is geweest van een van de Duitse Keurvorsten die ondermeer in Kleef zitting hadden. Vanaf de Keurvorstenheuvel heeft men grote kans om een havik te spotten. ======================================================================= Über die Namensgebung des Keurvorsten-Hügels ist nicht viel bekannt, aber es ist anzunehmen, dass dieses Waldstück einem der deutschen Kurfürsten gehörte, der unter anderem in Cleve saß. Vom Keurvorsten-Hügel aus hat man gute Chancen, einen Falken zu erspähen. ======================================================================= Not much is known with certainty about the naming of the Keurvorsten hill, but it can be assumed that this piece of forest belonged to one of the German Electors who sat in Kleve, among other places. From the Keurvorstenheuvel one has a good chance of spotting a hawk. ======================================================================= No se sabe mucho con certeza sobre el nombre de la colina de Keurvorsten, pero cabe suponer que este trozo de bosque perteneció a uno de los Electores alemanes que se sentaron en Cleve, entre otros lugares. Kochbunker Kale Jacob 1 in het Bergherbos. In het Bergherbos liggen acht Kochbunkers, die aan het eind van de Tweede Wereldoorlog in allerijl gebouwd zijn ter verdediging van het Duitse Rijk. Eén daarvan is afgelopen jaar zichtbaar en toegankelijk gemaakt. De bunkers waren onderdeel van de Beek-Riegel, een Duitse linie uit de laatste fase van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. ======================================================================= Koch-Bunker Bald Jacob 1 auf dem Bergherbos. Im Bergherbos gibt es acht Koch-Bunker, die am Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs in aller Eile zur Verteidigung des Deutschen Reiches errichtet wurden. Einer von ihnen wurde im vergangenen Jahr sichtbar und zugänglich gemacht. Die Bunker waren Teil des Beek-Riegels, einer deutschen Linie aus der letzten Phase des Zweiten Weltkriegs. ======================================================================= Kochbunker Kale Jacob 1 in the Bergherbos.
