Itinerary description
Löðmundur is a very nice mountain to climb/hike. Pretty easy and surrounded with beautiful landscape in an area called "að Fjallabaki". One should though rather do this one during the summer, to experience the contrast of the landscape to more extend. Today it was very windy (17-20 m/s during the route) and sandstorm was also affecting the view. The route is marked all the way to the top so it´s easy to follow.
