Itinerary description
Most of the trail was over unmarked paths.
Important - If you plan to follow this track please avoid my mistakes:
ascent to Veliki Šturac from Marjanovac lot of broken branches and high grass, almost un-passable
descent from Molitve - use same path for ascent
and path near monastery - use dirty road instead shortcuts. Paths on shortcuts are not safe and at the end you will be stopped by barbed wire fence around monastery.
Summits:
Mali Šturac 1058 meters asl
Srednji Šturac 1113 m
Marjanac 1029 m
Veliki Šturac (Jovan Cvijic's summit) 1132 m
Javor 1107 m
Molitve 1096 m
Paljevine 1052 m
Tavan 1007 m
Waypoints
Intersection - trail with dirty road
Path leads trough forest but there is a two options. You can use regular mountaineers path or use dirty road used by local people and people who maintains several telecommunication stations located on summits
View point
With considering fact that trail leads over summits above 1000 meters asl there is only few view points on the trail
Intersection with track and dirty road
This path leads to another view point and archeological place - prehistoric mine named Prljuša
Intersection near tower for mobile telecommunication
Per my knowledge Srednji Šturac on the left side of complex
Summit Marjanac
Unmarked summit there is no stone with basic details summit name and elevation
Intersection near Veliki Šturac
Be aware If you follow this track you can expect hard passable trail with lot of broken branches covered with high grass
Intersection near summit Molitve
Notice - use same path for ascent and descent from summit. Path used by me is not good requires some "gymnastic" activities like sliding on the ground and jumping from an enviable height
Intersection with small trail shortcut to monastery
Recommend to use dirty road as a main path to monastery. Trail used by me is unmarked and not safe
Summit
This is the beginning of the path to Bane's summit which I skipped without any valid reason. I just forgot this summit
