Itinerary description
Decent 2-day hike as far west as time would allow from that environmental catastrophe called ''Tal Mireeb.''
Just about manage to escape the plastic and other bits of garbage at about 8 KMs.
Windy days made the going tougher than expected on soft sand almost knee deep in places (great exercise). But at least it was nice and cool (relatively speaking!) Amazing calm nights and starry skies.
Beautiful patterns in the sand. Not so much as one insect spotted, but you wake up to lots of tracks and animal dung!
Get there before the ''sand sea'' become a plastic sea. Do the ''protectors of the desert'' actually give a 4X?
