Itinerary description
The path starts at the entrance of the village. This is part of E4 international path crossing Greece.
In the beginning you can follow a paved path up to a scenic point with view to the village. Then head a bit backwards till you meed the old church of Profitis Ilias.
The entire route is not covered by trees, so you have plenty of great views of the mountain Olympus on the south east and the surrounding areas. The path is marked with red marks on stones. The first part, almost till the summit is by following the forestal roads. This way you gain height easier.
Once at the summit you can follow the way back through the top of the mountain line. There you can see also old military fortress.
When descending you meet the forest road and head back to the village.
