Itinerary description
This is a cool little heart starter loop on old fire trail and new fire trail.
Little Mermaid is the little sister of Mermaid Mt, but little mermaid views are better (in my opinion).
The trip up is steep and takes about an hour. The council have decided to make the track into an obstacle course to try and stop illegal motor cyclists.... the view up the top is always amazing. The trip down is not as steep and it’s nice, open and some nice views of Flinders View and Border Ranges. Take care of the slippery gravel.

It’s a popular trail running spot for sure! I was gloating on how it’s been ages since I’ve slipped on loose gravel - just as I was thinking that - I slipped on the gravel 😂 that’s what I get for gloating.....
