Itinerary description
A classic walk for people staying in Paleochora. You can either get the Ferry to Sougia, then use the smaller ferry boat around to Lissos, or do the whole walk from Sougia to Anidri. Can obviously be done in the opposite direction getting the Ferry back Paleochora.
The route from Anidri beach to Paleochora is a gravel road and not too pleasant with the dust form the passing traffic, it is best therefore to call a taxi, or hitch a lift.
Do not underestimate this walk in the summer May-Sept when it can be very hot and you need carry lots of water.
