Itinerary description
Undiscovered trek by most local hiking enthusiasts. We explored the trail by wondering here and there. On our way down towards Gokina, we saw a huge cave from the village. The locals guided us towards the trail. Most people cal it the Lion's Den.
People interested in following the trail have to park the car at Monal, and then go down the road towards Gokina Village. The vicinity is green due to Neelan Bhota river passes through. Locals are very friendly and are helpful.
I wouldn't suggest following this trek as we got caught in some very rough terrains. Wear proper hiking pants and full sleeve shirt to protect yourself from thorns.
Otherwise, its beautiful and must-go trek for people living in islamabad.
