Itinerary description
We did a variant of the trail number 11 marked with red rectangle, but we did not follow the exact route. I would say that Bois des Fagnes is a highlight of the trail. From km 2.2 to 4.4 it was muddy and we had to jump twice over small streams.
After leaving the village of Lignières, you go through fields on a dirt road. From km 2.2 you enter forested area. At the end of winter, the dirt road was taken over by a stream. From km 4.4 you walk again in open fields, and from 6.1 on asphalt road linking Bande with Lignières (there was some traffic). Alternatively from km 6.1 you can follow further red rectangle markings to Lignières. You avoid asphalt road but you have to add an additional kilometre.

Wij hebben deze route gelopen en óók het pad 11 erbij gevolgd. Het is een leuke afwisselende route. Verharde stukken, onverharde stukken en vooral ook een rustige route. Fantastisch! Goed te doen als je een beetje wandelaar bent.

Moderate
Heel mooie route door bossen en weilanden, vrijwel geen asfalt. Veel water dus ook extra leuk voor kinderen. Bij 6.1 km zijn we afgeweken van de route en hebben de rode rechthoeken gevolgd. Dat is ook zeker de moeite waard.
