Itinerary description

English (castellano debajo):

We started from the train station parking of Ligerz-Gléresse as there are like 10 spots available.

From here the whole way is super well indicated and we decided to go towards Mont Sujet. It states that it will take 3.30 hrs; however, we managed in 2.30.
Since the beginning the trail starts going up with great views from the lake. After few kms and crossing a forest, you will reach a very flat section, wide open, with farms and you will lose the lake views.

From Diesse until the Mont Sujet summit is always up. You will cross another forest, lost of cows, everything green and super nice views all around.
Once up in the summit, you will have views towards the mountains and also lake of Neuchatel and only when you start descending you will have views from the other lake (Lake of Biel/Bienne).

In the way down, you will pass the "sentier des sculptures" (path of sculptures) where you will be able to see some sculptures directly sculpted in the trees.

After reaching Lamboing you will directly hit the gorges du Douanne (Twannbachschlucht). The entrance has a cost of 2 CHF or 1 CHF for kids in cash.
They are 2 km of super nice river views, with small waterfalls, lots of shadow and great landscape. Totally worth it.

On the way back to the parking there are 3 different options and we decided to make the fastest one, but there is a nice path next to the lake which is all flat.

In some cases you will need to walk through the road (prob a total of about 2 km), so be careful with cars - even if we didn't see any.
The whole path is quite easy, however, keep in mind that you are going up 1000 meters and walking more than 21 kms, so it won't just be as easy as it looks.
Obviously you can make it shorter by going from Diesse to Lamboing without going to the mountain summit.

Castellano:
