Physical difficulty: 2.5/5
Note #1: Some portions of the trail through the forest were somewhat overgrown, and the markings partly obscured. It's not a very common hiking trail, so chances are you will not encounter many fellow hikers.
Note #2: The markings are some points are very easy to miss, especially at Intersections #15 and #16. I suggest you go through all the waypoints and their descriptions before starting the hike to be prepared.
The trail starts in the small village of Lič, just outside of Fužine. From the starting valley, the circular trail will lead you through 2 neighbouring peaks - Medviđak and Veliki Kobiljak. They offer a very good view of the surrounding area, the Lič valley, and towards the Kvarner bay.
The trail goes through varied terrain: carriage roads, asphalt village roads, and forest paths, with a good deal of mini descents and ascents. Both peaks are accessible in the same way: once you arrive at their foot, you reach them via pretty steep and short climbs to the top, where you'll have to use arms to pull yourself up in a few places. These short climbs are also the most physically demanding part of the entire hike.
Show extra care not to slip or misstep, but no alpine equipment is needed.

Go right (and down) here if you want to go to Medviđak; if you continue left, you'll skip Medviđak and go straight towards Veliki Kobiljak.

Get right and off the asphalt road; after a short walk through the woods you will arrive at the foot of Medviđak peak.

Get off the road, and left and up into the woods onto the path leading directly to Veliki Kobiljak.

This crossroads is the foot of the Veliki Kobiljak peak. The short but steep ascent starts to the right. Once you back down from the peak, you will continue straight back towards Lič. The way back to Lič is a steep slope down through the deep forest. If it rained recently, the terrain will be muddy and slippery, so exercise caution. It's also overgrown at certain points, so the markings are obscured. We did miss a few and got off the marked trail, but if you follow the general direction you will eventually get on the official path again.
