Itinerary description

As you can see from the pictures, Velebit can't disappoint you. We were going through all four seasons (from short sleeves at the start to all three layers on the top) and all terrain types (rocks, mud, forest grass).
Tip: bring versatile clothes and walking poles.
Many people choose to visit only Sveto Brdo peak, so you can shorten your trail at least 1 hour if you just go right on 3rd intersection and avoid Vlaški grad.
Dog friendly trail.
Tip 2: use a SUV for the 10 km of gravel road you need to cross to get to the beginning of the trail. You can get out with a regular vehicle, but expect some cranking noises.
