Itinerary description
We parked at Levi information center and walked over the frozen lake to the south, returned through the woods passing by korkeaniemi, decided to try katka. We only had winter hiking boots and this trail is marked as a snowshoe trail but it hadn't snowed in a while and it was worth a try. There was a couple of steep sections but apart from that we easily made it up. It was getting late and we were getting tired so we turned back before reaching the summit. Beautiful scenery all the way, very good trail markings.
