Itinerary description
Nice and easy walk along the Levada do Norte. Starts somewhat boring walking through a Eucalyptus forrest but changes fast to some spectacular views! Not to be wallked by people who are scared of hights! There is no railing along the path.
At the end is a tunnel. We walked through it but at the other end the path became more treacherous and at one point the path had collapsed so at that point we decided to return. The whole walk is less kilometers than shown as the GPS didn't perform well in the mountains and the tunnel. Total walking time is exact, including some breaks for lunch and photos.
