Itinerary description
Parking at les Rousses, the tunnel was closed to traffic. According to the sign at the entry to the tunnel - also to pedestrian traffic. So I opted for a trail instead. It took me over the first tunnel and then the track was closed. In the end on the way back I noticed that nobody cared at all :)
It really makes sense to be at the parking early, it's quite large but fills up very quickly. The place appears to be quite popular so it's better to be ahead of the crowd.
Up from Armillon snow got in my way and I didn't have it in me to push through.
