Itinerary description
The above GPS track may be inaccurate due to poor signal. The area is very isolated though you may get two bars of phone reception. Your entry point is to the right of the massive Traveller's Palm (Ravinale).
**WARNING** Not advised to casual hikers! High risks of falling which could lead to severe injury or even fatality.
Rated 'Very Difficult' as you will have to tread carefully off track through remote rugged and steep terrain. The hike from Cascade Bouton to Au bout du monde is mostly a slippery, rocky declivity. You need to be fit enough to complete this track and a fair bit of advanced scrambling (walking up or down steep terrain/rock climbing using one's hands with your backpack) is needed. Sure-footedness is prerequisite to negotiate the rough terrain safely and a head for heights is essential at Au bout du monde.
