Itinerary description
From Les Marécottes continue parallel to the train line towards Le Trétien.
Go left down through the village and on a steep path down following signs to La Crettaz. Cross the river Triège on a bridge and then the river Le Trient on a larger bridge.
Climb up on a rather steep path, following for Gueroz and eventually hitting a larger path.
From Gueroz, follow for Vernayaz on a nice but steep path down and from there along the route 70 towards Martigny.
Hiked in March 2024 with a couple of leftovers from avalanches on the path to Gueroz, but nothing too difficult. Moderate for the steepness on the way down.
