Itinerary description
Mainly easy walk. Moderate only for some chains before Orgevaux.
From the station, walk through the village towards the river, cross at any bridge, turn left and stay along the river on a parcours vita.
When reaching the road, turn left and shortly after right back onto a forest path along the river. Follow the path up the hill with nice views on the Les Diablerets until you see a big sign for Refuge Pierredar. Here you keep right and follow for Creux du Champ and La Laya.
On long serpentines and often large and easy paths, you arrive at La Laya. From there, a bit steeper and a bit more difficult up towards Chalet vieux and Orgevaux. There are some chains before Orgevaux for security along a narrow path.
From Orgevaux steep down back towards Les Diablerets. At the crossing with the road, we took the longer alternative and went left up.
We hit a bit of snow (mid october) for the last 100 altitude meters and on the shady way down, but nothing too dangerous.
