Itinerary description
Lerdederg Bears Head Circuit from Loh lane
This can be somewhat difficult along the river bed depending on water levels. I crossed the river no less than 12 times as I was not able to continue on a particular side due to cliff faces. There is no marked trail as such along the river and look out for the tree with yellow tape around it. The trail marker to Bears Head track is not visible from the river bed but a lovely trekker has marked a tree with tape, from here head up and you’ll find the track. All other parts of the trail are in formed tracks.
