Itinerary description
There are some contradictory names for the canyons of this trek that I found in the internet. With top one more frequently called Wadi Razor, and bottom one - Leopard canyon. But I found some descriptions where people referred to top canyon as Leopard.
We spent 4 hours to reach the highest point of the trek - plateau overlooking the wadi that we ascended (Wadi Qada'ah?).
Then we went to Razor Canyon where we settled for lunch and did some exploration of the canyon.
Razor Canyon 2h
First drop of about 15 m can be bypassed on the left side or abseiled with the rope, there are two bolts fitted (take a wrench to tighten them up).
To bypass it just go on eroded ledges on the left wall, try to spot stones arranged in stairs and/or black polished spots on the rock (left by visitors footwear and goats), you shouldn't have problems following those spots all the way you descent the first drop on other side.
Then second drop follows, which you can down climb with stairs fitted in the middle of waterfall or go to the right side and after little exposed traverse reach the ones wedged in the corner of the wall.
Then we kept to the right side of the cliff on the ledges trying not to loose altitude as much as possible, just overlooking the canyon bed from the top.
We didn't go all the way down the canyon as we lacked time, so at some point we had to turn back up.
Descend 3.5h
On the way back, you'll have to descend a gully followed by few drops which you should bypass on the sides until you reach last waterfall, after down climbing which on the left side you'll be taken to the beautiful canyon to mark the final part of the trek.
