Itinerary description
The Iffigsee mountain lake is located in the Gelten-Iffigen nature reserve above the Iffigenalp. It invites you to relax and contemplate.
It's only accessible on foot in less than two hours of walking, through the valley, or three hours via the Iffighore mount (2378m.), from where we have a splendid 360° view.
We made this trail choice from the top. If not overclouded, the climb to Iffighore (2h30) is rewarded with a fantastic view on the deep turquoise lake, nicely nestled netween the sheer rock face on one side and the mountain meadows on the other.
Probably one of the best hikes in the Lenk valley.
