Itinerary description
Rode on a 4WD from Tasik Raban to trailhead for about 10mins. Started hiking at 8:35am, ended about 13:25pm
With Trailblazer Hiking Club.
The trail in the morning was damp, infested with leeches. Pulled at least 10 off my shoes before they suck me dry.
Saw a crater, allegedly created by a bomb, and remains of a WW2 bomber plane scattered around the mountain. The plane crashed in the mountain on 3 May 1952.
Awesome company. An educational hike with a glimpse of WW2 history in the jungle.
