Itinerary description
After a three day break to visit the hospital in Launceston for treatment on an infected big toe, I returned to Jamaica Inn to continue the walk. I can't actually recall a great deal of the day except that it involved a mixture of countryside a day rural lanes. After a very hot walk, I arrived at a campsite close to the amusingly named village of Chipshop to discover that the charge for a pitch for my tiny one-man tent was a staggering £27! As I had walked close on twenty miles and was very hot and tired, I coughed up this ridiculous amount and collapsed into the tent.
