Itinerary description
A short circular walk starting in the centre of Lee-on-the-Solent, which includes a section through the Alver Valley Country Park and a section along the seafront (part of the England Coast Path) with far-reaching views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight.
I had intended to go via Apple Dumpling Bridge but as you can see from the photo, it was seriously flooded and impassible unless you wanted to swim!

Go through the gate into the MOD training area.
Normally it is quite safe to enter this MOD training area although you are advised "not to pick up suspicious objects"...there are red flags flying if there is a current training exercise in situ.
