Itinerary description
Around half way the track, you come through a town called Torchiarolo. In this town, you may find a small shop to buy some food or water, but keep in mind that these shops are closed on a Sunday and they have a long siesta between 1 and 4 pm, so if you plan to "refuel" in this town, make sure to be there before 1pm.
Other then this town, you will not see a shop until you get to Lecce, so make sure you bring enough to eat and drink along the way.
As there are few trains on Sunday to get back to Brindisi, it's best to do this track on a weekday or on a Saturday.
For those interested, along the track there are quite a few geocaches that you may want to visit while passing by.
This track is also very suitable for long distance walkers, assuming a day walk of 48km is not too long,
