Itinerary description
[English text below]

This magnificent 17 km hike from the guest house Le Valangré in Gistoux will allow you to walk through the valleys of the 'Train' (Gistoux), the 'Glabais' (Longueville), the 'Ry de Hèze' (Grez Doiceau) and then again the 'Train' at Bonlez -- the 'Glabais' and the 'Ry de Hèze' throwing themselves both into the stream the Train.
You begin with a solid uphill climb to the plateau of "Folle France" (225 m of difference in altitude), then walk down towards the sources of the 'Glabais', then up again towards the medieval chapel of the 'Chêneau'. You then walk down towards the sources of the 'Ry de Hèze' -- with a bucolic passage through a beautiful (mostly) pine forest -- walk along the 'Ry de Hèze' until its confluence with the 'Train' in Morsain. You then walk up towards the outskirts of the golf courses of 'Bercuit' and some of its imposing mansions.
Then you walk back towards the 'Train' in the vicinity of the (private) castle of Bonlez and its 40 ha estate. Muddy part before the bridge with an old artifical stone cave that was used as an ice room for food conservation at the casle.
This leads you to a lovely 800m trail along the stream, and then you gradually find the village of Gistoux by the old road of the valley.
