Itinerary description
This was a short, but beautiful hike that took you to the rocky volcanic cliffs of the souther part of Marie Galante.
This was an easy hike except for one short portion... which is why we rated it "Moderate". You must walk along the sharp, rocky cliff for a bit. If you have a fear of heights, ledges or cannot climb on rocks... then this might be challenging.
The hike begins from the road, going over a grassy area then into a forest in a ravine walking over a dry rocky stream bed.
This opens up to a grassy area overlooking the South Coast with beautiful volcanic rock formations all around.
You hike over the rocks, along the edge to another open grassy area, then along the road, uphill, back to where you began.
