Itinerary description

Staying at the le Planet Hamlet is such a treat. You find yourself at the mouth of many spectacular trails of various intensities and lengths. The weather was rainy today so we waited for a glorious spot of sunshine and patches of blue sky and sneaked down to the village of Argentière, before the heavens decide to open again with rain. A short walk with spectacular views of the mountains and the forest and good pace to get your heart pumping. If you are a beginner like me and not a goat like my husband, I recommend you take hiking poles as it helps with the way down and up in the forest.
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s climb to Montenvers
