Itinerary description
I parked my car at the Marae Ti’i-rua parking spot and brought with me 3,5 liters of water. I chose to walk counter clockwise of the route, so I would start the ascent and the peak early into my hike. This proved to be a good decition since it tool me around 3 hours to hike including a good rest at the summit and plenty of time taking photos at the swing.
The hike was very easy with a clear gravel path. As I went up, it wasn’t too steep and there were no steep sides to worry about. But during mid day sun it was hot. The summit was very nice and the view of both bays at the same time was breathtaking. And as a bonus there were a swing. The descent was pretty easy and it took me through fields of pineapples. I had never seen these before so this was very interesting. There were a 2 meter rope to get down a little hill, so anyone can do this hike.
I can highly recommend this hike.
