Itinerary description
From the very picturesque village of Lavaudieu, which is listed among "Les plus belles villages de France", we walked alongside the river La Senouire along a track that gradually goes up to Chatea Domeyrat, which is an imposing castle and a historic monument that can be visited from 14.30 to 17.30.
After passing the castle you go down to cross the Railway track and somewhat later the river after which you go up again and it is during this part of the walk that you will see many views of the castle.
It is an easy walk gradually going up from 450 to 600 metres and gradually going down again, passing a few hamlets and the walk will give you may views of the surrounding country.
