La Huertas de Coin in Reverse

This walk is on the outskirts of Coin, going down the Camino rural de Rio Grande for about 2km.

It is one of my favourite walks.
I did it on a cloudy day and just after it rained, so there was about 1km of muddy track just past the first bridge crossing the Rio Grande.

There are some really lovely views of the countryside with undulating hills and valleys. There are some farms and a few houses pebble dashed
In places.

You do the odd car every now and then, and a chance to see some wildlife.

There is no shade on this walk, so iI wouldn’t advise it in the summer, especially in the afternoons.

Also you won’t find any processionary caterpillars in this area.

If you are walking your dog/s, be careful around the last quarter leg of the walk as some dogs from the houses there might come out to investigate.
