Our trip to southern Norway continued by driving south.
On the way to Stavanger, we made a first stop after about twenty minutes to see the Latefoss waterfall: its location is truly amazing, as it is very close to the road and it is easy to get wet.
After a further ten minutes on the road we left the car for another trek: the Langfoss waterfall is, again, very close to the road, but in this case it is possible to hike to see the top of the waterfall. It is possible to reach the top of the 612 meters and I talk about it here: https://www.travelsbeer.com/viaggiando/langfoss/.
You have to drive another three hours to reach Stavanger: luckily the road is sometimes very scenic. It is also necessary to take a short ferry ride: during this crossing we admired a wonderful sunset!
Stavanger, with its 130,000 inhabitants, is one of the largest cities in southern Norway. It is a very lively city, and on Saturday night the nightlife turned out to be quite lively!
